Here are answers to common questions you might have if you're planning to sell items at this year's craft fair!
If you need directions, please google “Village Lakes Highland CA,” which will bring up a general address. It should point you to this link. Use the Greenspot Road entrance, and you will see the area near the front/by the pool area.
Visit the Google form to sign up and pay for your spot. It’s $10 for residents and $25 for nonresidents. All information about how to pay is in the form. The deadline to purchase a spot is Sunday, September 28, and 8 p.m. PT.
You're all set! You are officially part of the craft fair!
We will send out an email reminder the week leading up to the event, and the booth map will be sent out by the evening before the event. (Sarah thanks you in advance for your patience!)
We are considering one spot to be 10'x20' (big enough for a standard EZ Up). Scroll down to the bottom of this page and view the pictures from last year's event to get an idea of the setup!
Yes! We will be creating some social media docs soon that you can use to promote your involvement! Follow us on Instagram, too! Search for Villagelakeshighland! Be sure to tag us on Insta so we can reshare your post and let our followers check you out!
Other than being denied a spot because of duplicate items being sold, refunds will not be issued. This event is organized by a small group of Village Lakes residents who are making sure you have a spot at the event. We understand that plans change, but we have limited time to update the booth map and will assume you are coming once you submit your form. If we do not receive payment and do not hear from you after a few attempts, we will assume you aren’t coming.
Rain or shine, the event will go on! It rained a little in 2023, and it didn’t stop the fun!
As this is a small community-sponsored event, we are providing the location and advertising of the event. Along with your amazing self and your crafts, please bring a table, chair, and an EZ Up if you have one. We will be in a parking lot surrounded by grass, so there are no outlets nearby. If you need power, please arrange to bring a generator. It is also highly recommended to bring weights for your EZ Up in case it is windy. If you choose to accept cash, it’s also a good idea to bring small bills for change. You are responsible for everything in your booth, including setting up and taking down your booth and leaving your area free of trash.
Please arrive no earlier than 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, to set up. The event begins at 10 a.m., so give yourself enough time to get to the area and set up.
Multiple sellers will be arriving around the same time, so please be patient and follow the line of vehicles. A Village Lakes Social Committee member will be at the front of the community, where you will be provided with your spot number. (Depending on if Sarah can get her act together, spot numbers might go out before the event!) You will then be able to drop off your items in your spot. Note that the seller area(s) must be free of vehicles.
Please park in the lot on the other side of the pool. See the map at the top of the page. There will also be space available along the curbs around the greenbelt area in the same area. If you are a resident and don’t live too far from the front, we encourage you to take your car back to your home to leave room for guests to park.
Yes. Our pool area has restrooms, and Social Committee members will have keys for use to get into the area when needed. Please be respectful of this common area as we share it with all Village Lakes residents.
The craft fair ends at 2 p.m. Last year, everyone started packing up 15-30 minutes before the end. Please make sure that your area is free of trash. The Village Lakes community is excited to welcome you, and we appreciate your respect for our common areas.
